Tour of the old town with a “boilermaker”
Schwerin showcases its hospitality in this guided walkabout. It does not only quench your thirst for knowledge in a convivial manner but also provides you with a brief insight into East German drinking culture. During the tour, the participants stop off at the Altstadtbrauhaus to experience this culture for themselves. Each guest receives a so-called “Herrengedeck” in proper style, comprising a beer and a shot of schnaps, accompanied by a delicious slice of bread and dripping. On the way to the Brauhaus and back to the historical old part of the town the guide will provide you with interesting things to know about the history and tales of Schwerin, its sights and famous people.
